Our half day trip lasts for about 2,5 hours. We’ll do a round trip of about 20 kilometres. At the half way point, we will make a break at a old log cabin. There we will make a bonfire and serve warm beverages for everyone. If you wan’t to bring food to cook on the bonfire, you are free to do so.

During the break you will get plenty of time to pet the dogs, and our guides are happy to answer any question you might have about the world of dog sledding.

This is by far our most family friendly trip. The sledding itself is split up into two bulks of about 50 minutes, so any younger children won’t get time to grow bored or tired.

Everyone over the age of 12 years will be given the chance to steer the sled. The adults will be put together two and two on each sled, changing places half way.

Children under the age of 12 will be put in guide sleds, unless anything else has been agreed upon beforehand. 

This trip is arranged on wednesdays and fridays at 10.00 and 14.00.

Adults: 1500,- NOK

Children under 12 years: 750,- NOK

Children under 3 years will ride for free, sitting with a parent in a guide sled.

Instructions will start on the clock, so we advise you to be at the kennel 10-15 minutes ahead of time. The total duration with preparations and socializing after the trip is about 3 hours
